This weekend some of the employees of Robert’s Running and Walking Shop took a trip over to Saint Albans to participate in the 4th Annual Nick Caldwell Memorial 10K and 5K. Jason Pyles was the overall winner of the 5K with a time of 15:42 and a new course record. Emily Chaney made the trip from Huntington and won the women’s division with a time of 18:26 which was good for a 3rd place finish overall. John Meadows finished the 10K in 3rd place overall (39:31). Other runners participating on behalf of Robert’s Running and Walking Shop were Brad Kohler with a 2nd place finish in the 5K (17:44) and Allison Cox with a 2nd place finish in the 10K (39:30).
This event was a great way to honor Nick Caldwell and contribute to the scholarship made in his honor. And as always the friends and staff of Robert’s Running and Walking Shop enjoyed the morning spent with the running community. #run fiercely.
